Elindult az #ArmMeWith hashtag kampány, amit az amerikai tanárok azután indítottak, hogy Donal Trump elnök azt a fantasztikus ötletet találta ki az iskolai lövöldözések megelőzésére, hogy fegyverezzék fel a tanárokat.

A csökkentése helyett javasolt növelés felháborodást váltott ki több pedagógusból, akik ezért úgy döntöttek, hogy hashtag kampányba kezdenek Facebookon – írja a BBC.

 

Let's be clear: arming teachers with guns is NOT the answer. Teachers need resources and funding to provide important services to students. Along with gun control legislation in this country, I want you to #armmewith what I need to provide a great education for ALL students.

– Fegyverezz fel anyagi és egyéb forrásokkal, hogy szakmai programokkal segíthessünk a diákoknak megemészteni a nehéz lelki terheket – írta egy másik.

 

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! Not one more child’s face will flash on my television listed as a life lost. I do not want to llisten to their parents tell us of the life their child had before them, but now instead of making plans for college they are making funeral plans. Not one more teacher will need to walk around their classroom to plan and prepare themselves to be armed with basic classroom supplies that they have purchased themselves. Not one more! I am tried, I am angry and I am telling you there needs to be change! This isn’t a time for sides! It is a time for us to realize there is an issue and it can no longer be avoided.
