Roger Michell 65 éves korában hunyt el váratlanul.
Váratlanul elhunyt Roger Michell író, rendező, aki többek között a Sztárom a párom, a Vénusz és a Kuzinom, Rachel filmet rendezte. A halálhírt a rendező családja közölte, halálának okát jelenleg nem tudni – írta a Guradian.
A rendező legismertebb művei közé sorolják a Sztárom a párom című filmet, amelyben Julia Roberts és hugh Grant szerepel. A filmmel összesen 3 Golden Globe jelölést kapott. Roger Michell Dél-Afrikában született, a Cambridge-en tanult. Karrierjét egy színházban kezdte, ahol olyan művészekkel dolgozott együtt, mint Samuel Beckett, John Osborne és Danny Boyle.
